Hello,
I have an '01 Sport Trac. We recently changed the ignition because the keys were lost in an abyss somewhere. Thinking this would be a cheaper option we chose to change the ignition rather than pay over $200 for a new key. The ignition we got does not have PATs keys. The issue is that the ignition will turn on everything but the truck. I'm thinking we messed up the security system as the Theft light flashes rapidly now. I have tried many different reset "tricks" given to me by friends and nothing works. If there a way to fix this without getting a dealer involved? Thanks!
