01 sport Trac swap 94 explore

Evening, new to posting been following for years. So question is can I take my 94 4.0 engine harness and all and put it in my 01 sport Trac??? Pros cons.... Thanks

Welcome to this forum! You are converting everything back to EEC-IV (OBD-I), so the computer, wiring harness, engine, and the transmission have to be swapped. Don't cut any wires. Swap everything as one assembly. Is it worth the time & effort to install parts which are older than what is there now?

It is physically possible. About the same amount of work as swapping a 302 out of an explorer in.
