I have a '99 Sport with 4x4 and was wondering if I would have any rubbing issues with newer Explorers 17x7.5's? I have shackles and TT. The only thing I'm worried about is the width being larger. I know the bolt pattern is good, I'm just wondering about the width. Any input would be great. Thanks!

slightly confused...

Are you saying the rims from a 4door to a 99 sport? We have 265/70/17 on Two Rivers - no lift - a leaf spring was added later because of rear sag. There are no rubbing issues. How different is the 99 sport?

This is a pic from a bit back -

Well I jut tried putting on a rim from my Mom '05 Eddie Bauer with 17x7.5 and the tire hit the upper control arm so the offsets from the Gen III Explorer's must be diffrerent than the Gen II. So that is out of the question.

So my next question is what is the offset of the stock 16x7 on an '99 Sport? And what is the offset of '02 and up Ranger's with 16x7 rim?

This is the wheel I'm looking at. Says 16" in the ad but it looks identical to newer Eddie Bauer wheels like the one on my mom's I just tried which didn't work.

Can anybody confirm that these came on a Ranger? And also if they are really 16x7? Thanks everybody. I'm just thinking about buying these and I need to figure it out quick.
