02 Explorer broken fuel vent hose

A friend of mine called me today from the road and they blew a rear tire and it ripped a fuel tank vent hose off from somewhere and the truck will idle and rev up but it bucks when giving it gas.I had them bend the end of the hose over and tape it up so they could try and make the trip back(100 Miles).Has anyone ever had this happen to them?I cant seem to find a vacuum/fuel line schematic anywhere to try and figure out where it goes.Any help is appreciated.

I found after crawling under the truck that there are 4 hoses that go to the tank.
1 is the actual filler hose
2 is the overflow for the filler
3 has a plastic vent on it
4 looks like it is supposed to go to the actual plastic filler for another vent but is the one that is broken.

Well since there is so much damage to the Explorer by the shreaded tire that never went flat they are going to let the insurance co take care of it so I guess Ford will have to figure out why it wont run properly also.Thanks for the scans of the factory repair manual.
