Waiting on her parts...Apparently it's even a parts guy holiday today so my bodyshop guy is Oil proofing the bottom of my truck and throwing some wild colored pin stripe on it for free. Normally he'd fix other little dents and scuffs but my trucks body was in pretty good shape before the deer.
No that sport trac was indeed. The company who put the glass in ground down the frame around the window to remove the residue and removed the paint as well. Apparently they're supposed to put a layer of primer down before a new window and they just decided not to...It rusted out all the way around the window and started going back the roof.
nice that the body shop is letting you come in for status checks... its been a LOOONG time since I have had a vehicle in teh body shop, but I recall one incident when they wouldn't even let me come see it and they kept it like an extra week because they were waiting for license plate frame lights or something... but I had a rental courtesy of the other driver so it wasn't too big a deal.
Matt - This bodyshop guy has been amazing he took care of everything after i hit the deer including arranging the rental car. He came highly recommended from a friend and him having my truck for only a week now i can see why.
Lol thanks rondo. It'll be tuesday now. He's doing some Ultra Metallic Blue pinstriping and Some black body decals. Pics will be up as soon as she comes home.
