I've pulled off every door boot, no broken wires. I've replaced the switches. I even replaced the whole harness from where the electrical connects from the roof to the hatch/lift.
So my question is......could it be a latch problem? No the switch but the door latch itself. After checking the wiring again, for the 3rd time. I opened all the doors and hatches, used a screwdriver to push the latches into the closed position (wanted to see if maybe I need to move the strike to make the door close tighter) then pressed the lock button. Interior light never went off. So I used my remote to unlock the drivers door, pulled the handle so I could use the screw driver to push the latch into the open position and the alarm went off.
This has happened before when I had the hatch open, to get things out, but pushed the lock button before I took them out so all I had to do was close the hatch and it would be locked. The second it closed, the alarm went off.
Any ideas?
