03 Explorer 4.0 question

Hi guys I'm new here...so I got an 4.0 03 Explorer with rattle noise but it's seen to get more noticeable when engine is hot,can I use any higher viscosity and higher HTHS like Mobil 1 HM 10w30 or 10w40?? Or Mobil 1 5w30 with Lucas stabilizer full synthetic?? My engine has 128.000 on it Thanks!! BTW I always used Dino oil

Welcome to this forum! Have the place you purchased the Explorer from replace the timing chain or get your money back from them for the cost of the repair.

Well the thing is I bought this SUV back in 2005

You likely have a timing chain problem. That is a major repair and a certain type of oil won't fix it.
