ok,
I have done my research, or so I thought.

here is the situation...

My son helping to change oil, and drained from tranny instead. Now I need to put fluid back in.

I got the valvoline fluid pump, I got mercon v. I got the 1/8" npt fitting, so that I can follow these directions:

Here is where I am running into a problem. I removed the torx screw from the drain, and fluid came just running out. Now I know it is low...so I dont know what I am doing wrong.

any ideas? thanks.

been to that one too.
it is flat in my garage on the ground...so I dont think that is it.

wow, 1 week later. I hope that it wasn't the daily driver!!

I just changed my tranny fluid. I have a 5spd.

Always take the fill plug out first, i've learned, cuz if the fill plug is stuck after ur done taking the drain plug out, u can't fill it back up in your convinience LOL

Anyways, I'm guessing i had a lot of water in my tranny, cuz oil came out of my fill.

The answer is, You use that ATF and pump the fill til it comes out of the fill, then put the fill bolt back on.

I put 2.8 quarts in. 5 speeds don't have a torque converter.

EDIT:
I'm ashamed you had to wait 1 week for this answer. If i joined sooner i would have informed you.
