Ok... VT has lots of ClassIV and VI roads, public "trails" that can be wheeled. Matt and I would love to take Sunday night and camp out, and then wheel on Monday.

Who's interested? Also, we need to find some roads/trails! Any ideas?
I'm interested if someone will let me ride with them. Also I need to be at the train station in Essex Junction at 8 AM on Tuesday morning to go home. If anyone can get me there let me know for sure. If not, I'll be leaving Monday morning after the Jamboree, and will need a ride then too.

Has anything been finalized yet? Here it is 2 weeks before and I have no idea what is going on. I don't want to cancel out but if I don't hear anything soon, I'm going to have to. As it is I'll lose the money I've paid for the ticket, but I don't want to get stranded in Vermont if I go there and no one decides to go. :(

I am leaveing it up to everyone to make a desion. Sheraton or Holiday Inn? I need responses soon. I am gonna say, each person reserve their own room. If you are staying with somone. One of the people call and get a room. Say you want a room next to Matt Cohen. Once this is finalized I will call and reserve my room. Then everyone do it after me.

Matt, choose whatever hotel:

1) Cheapist
2) Has a better bar
3) has a better hot-tub
4) has hottest maids... since there's no batchelor party this year. :(

(2-4 are optional, and me being a smart-azz)

thanks again for making our reservations....

As for wheeling - I ordered a DeLorme's guide to VT, and am talking with some NEA members regarding legal Class 6's nearby. However, and this is a big however, the trail might not be "near" essex, it might be in a 1-2hr radius. Allot depends on what's legal/whats ok for us on 31s.

Here are some answers to your questions

Q # 1. In looking I found that the Holiday Inn is cheapest averaging $112.00 for a 2 night stay for two double beds and up to 5 in a room. The Sheraton averages $179.00 for 2 nights for 2 double beds and up to four in a room

Q # 2. No bars at either, anyway, you could bring your own if you desired

Q #3. No hot tub at the Holiday Inn, but both indoor and outdoor pools, the Sheraton has a hot tub and an outdoor pool

Q #4. Makes no difference to me....I'm a lady

Yeah Aaron, I know you're are being a smart azz......

Of that list, most important to me is the price

Sandy, maybe you'll get bumped to a suite with a butler. ;)

Since this calls for an executive decision...let's go with the Holiday Inn providing they have at least 3 rooms available, and if so, we can try for the closest group of them.

Aaron: PLEASE remind me to call Fred Sunday at the DWE show if you read this in time.

Sandy: Even if I go wheeling Monday, i won't be around Tuesday. I'm heading back either evening.

So far it seems there'll be little carpooling, too, unless Aaron wants to hitch a ride again. I need to swing by Saera's to pick her up before 7, and I'm willing to bet John wants to drive his rig up to show off his new lift (which i can vouch is SWEET). I also wanna give my mudz a trial run if we go wheelin. If you guys go to New England Online Wheelers, you'll find lots more people planning to make the trip up.
