Just put those F150 spacers on this AM
Actually about 1 hr. ago, waiting for my alignment appt. Complete cake on a 97 Ranger, should be the same for 1 Gen Explorers. We live in CA so there was virtually no rust anywhere and the nuts came off easily. Biggest problems were no spring compressor (get a bigger hammer, not a problem) and my dadgum RS9000's are 1-1.5" too short. They were the limiting factor if I took my swaybar links off with the factory 1/8" spacer, so I'm dropping by PepBoys to get those stud extenders. Something to think about.
Regards,
Brian in CA
PS With only an air gun and a floor jack beyond normal hand tools, only took 45 min to do both sides, and that was including 15 min. of fiddling with penetrating oil and cleaning stuff off.
