Well, to me that sounds a little bit high. I gave 500 for the whole tranny when i bought my rebuilt 5-speed, but that was from an individual who does this.
A t5 would probably be cheaper, but you'd have to adapt it over.
My 94 with a remanufactord tranny, centerforce clutch, slave cylinder, new sensors, gaskets, & seals was $1700. That was with all the labor. Got the tranny from
$85 for new slave
$1081.08 for rebuild (labor not included)
$35 dollars for new drain and fill plugs
$158 Borg warner clutch
$30 ground flywheel
$3 for new flywheel alignment pin
Damn thing runs great now though, now if i could just figure out how to getm ore gas milage out of it.
I go 158 miles on 11 gallons is this right? Thats kinda driving with the pedal down alot of the time. I changed my driving style but i didnt see any results.
