hey sub guys...i have two 12" older punches and one blew on me a little while back, so i'm running just one. a friend can get me a real deal on 2 10" punch's and a nice box for really cheap, so if i do this will i be losing the sound that i love coming out of the 12's?

i'm right to assume that 2 10's powered by a 360 amp will sound better than one 12 by the same amp right?

these 12's are aging (obviously) so i'm leaning more towards the 10's, will there be a noticable difference?

thanks.

i have 3 10s right now. sounds really tight, but also cus they are sq subs. im selling them and hopefully getting 2 12s for pure spl. i think depending on what kind of music you like, and what setup you are leaning towards, 10s could be or not be the way to go

10's will have a tighter sound to them, they can still be loud as hell too... But they won't go quite as deep as a 12" will... I've had both and I prefer the sound of a 12" to a 10... Just my opinion though... I like the deep bass...

right now im running 2 mtx thunder 6000's and 1 10" jl w7...i love the punch from the 10.. and the 12s just hammer... that was my solution to the delima.. get both
