16's or 18's on '91 X

I'd like to put some different wheels on my '91 XLT 4x4. Not for muddin' though. The speedline wheels are real nice, but will they fit with the front hubs? What about cobra rims and the front hubs? This X thing is all new to me and I'm tryin' to get a clue. Would like to put some 16's or 18's w/ slightly wider (read not sticking out) and lower sidewall tires on it. Anyone out there that can give me some help and point me in the right direction on this little project?

Pretty much nothing will fit over the hubs except a few American Racing offroad rims.

That's true. My cousin who has a '91 EB 4x4 just went through the whole bit looking for new rims. He got frustrated because he couldn't find what he really wanted. He ended up buying just stock rims from a member here (Webster).

If you can find a 2WD in a junkyard, swapping out the front suspension is not that difficult from what I hear.
