got a lot done so far today (and plan on working another 4 or 5 hours tonight)

anyways, mikeknott came down to help and to do some work on his new system. He's going to be filling his rear end with glass with no visible subs or amps and a 10.4 cubic foot box tuned to 38 hz. these pics are definitely just the beginning of his box- and more will follow but first i need to get my truck in for paint.

also, his truck was lowered this week, and his 18" mkw mk9s are at my house now awaiting a ride up here to my apartment from my mom tomorrow. will definitely be getting new pics with those.

and finally, his old box is for sale. it used to be my box as well. It is sealed 2.7cubes per sub and fits two 15s... it is very well built and we are asking $100 for it plus shipping.

that box is going to have downfiring woofers with a big port to the rear. when you look in it will be similar to typhoon's truck, except with nothign visible but the port and glass. We're going for a really simple clean design with custom paint.

ooh, also i bought the rollpan that was cut off of boomin x's truck. I had planned on fabricating one after the current round of modifications and painting it later (since its going to just be plain white back there), but now i will be trying to get it done before i take it in for the paint.

besides i only paid $125 for it which is essentially the same as one from an f 150 would cost me and would still need a ton of work. although, i was planning on starting with an mdf frame from scratch to make mine

here are a few more pics, the front end is almost ready for paint, just need to clean up the sanding on the grille, then move onto the rollpan. The friday deadline has been moved back to sunday now for dropping it off (no chance of having it done friday)

yes, hartman- the wiper cowl is completely shaved except for the one hole for the mounting screw. i'm gonna leave it like that too.

I just got my clarion stuff today! after taking one look at this hu unpacked i'm very, very happy i didn't go with any of the other options (pioneer 960, blaupunkt san francisco cd72, alpine 7998 or 7915, etc. etc)
