1985 ranger 4x4 aod trans.

I just baught this truck without the trans in it and now have it in and need to know the trans line that comes from the top of the radiator goes in witch hole in the trans.

it really doesnt matter in a closed loop system but I prefer to set it up just like factory, so the output to cooler line from the trans goes to the top of the radiator cooler, then from the bottom of the rad trans cooler to the top of the aux cooler, then out the bottom of the aux cooler and back to the trans

that transmission you have is a 3 speed or 4 speed? 85 ranger it should be a C5 automatic (3 speed)

AOD was only used behind the V8

I cant tell you unless we figure out what trans you have

it this is behind a 2.8L V6 then it should be the 3 speed C5 auto
