Welcome to the site!

What exactly do you mean by hard start? Does the engine just crank and crank and crank for a few seconds before starting when you turn the key? Will it not just start up on the first try and takes a few attempts before it will start?

Sometimes cleaning the battery terminals if the battery isn't too old but has corrosion, if the battery is old or getting weak a new battery will often fix the issue, other times it's not the battery but the battery cables themselves that are corroded internally and just not getting a good ground or connection to the starter. Could also just be something like a fuel filter that isn't clogged up enough to prevent running ok but blocks enough fuel from getting to the engine at startup when the fuel pump first primes the system.

Are you sure you're waiting until AFTER the fuel pump primes before starting? Some people turn the key without waiting for the fuel pump then wonder why it fails to start immediately. On the Explorer, you need to wait a second or two after turning the key for the fuel pump to come on (the whirring noise), prime the sytem for a second, THEN you turn the key to start it. Turning the key before the system is primed can cause the engine to not start because it didn't get a chance to get any fuel.

Specify the exact symptoms you notice for the hard starting and you might get a few members who have had the exact same issue and the fix.

when it sits over night and u go out in the morning to start it
it will just sit there and crank and crank for a long time it has a brand new battery and cables just put them in and a brand new fuel filter normally if u cycle the key it starts and now the only way to start it is by keep on cranking or if u take the black air tube off and out ur over the tb and chock it out and thank you

also i have had people tell me the fuel pump should run for a few secs then shut off my doesnt my stays running
it aslo so has a new fuel press regulater

lso when it does finally start up and run the check engine stays on

If you have a CEL (Check engine light) you want to read that code. That way you know what it is seeing as wrong/broken.

Next time you think it will have a hard time starting try this...
Turn the key to the "on" position but don't try to start the truck.. count to 5 then turn the key off then back to on then off.. Now try to start it.

If that works then your bleeding off fuel pressure overnight and gives us a place to start looking.

maniak i tryed that it and it did not change

That means we can "most likely" rule out bleeding off of fuel pressure due to a bad check valve, leaking injector or leaking FPR.

Have you read the code yet?
I'm asusming you don't have an EEC_IV reader so use this thread to learn how to read the codes using a paperclip...

Also good info on the 2 sticky threads here.. One of the threads had the codes..

Also, do a quick check when your under the hood and make sure all of the vacuum connections at the intake manifold octopus (driver side) has something on them. From the factory some are just capped off and over time those caps can get old and blow off which will give you a big vacuum leak and make things hard to start, and run like crap.

i have put my scaner on it and the only code it brings up is the nutral safty switch and he fpr replaced ta 155 code i have and i have done a complet check and i just put all brand new injectors in it

I would go back and try this again. But do it 4 times . If the fuel bleed back into the tank, it might take a few cycles to get the fuel all the way up to the rail again
