This might be long winded but the more information the better right.

The other night I went out to the truck and noticed the interior light was on. This was weird as the last time I was in it the sun was out so no need for the interior light to be on. So I hoped in the truck to turn it off and it wasn’t on. Not sure if all the interior lights are connected to the head lights by twisting it to the left or right , but the switch wasn’t on. So I figured starting the truck might jostle anything and fix it self (ha-ha I know wishful thinking) SO I started the truck and the light stayed on so I figured id just leave it on. Well when I went to put the headlights on they worked fine but the "warning BEEP" continues as the headlights are on. The beeping stops when the lights are off, but I can’t drive at night without them on.

I replaced the fuse but that wasn’t the problem, so now im stuck. I’m HORRIBLE with cars when it comes to fixing them so the more detail the better. If you suggest changing something tell me where I should find it, I don’t not own the owners manual anymore either.

Thank you in advance,
K

I HATE door beepers so i just umpluged the thing that makes the noise. It is under the dash right in the middle between the seats. you can feel it vibrate when it is makeing noise so it easy to spot.

...the info i posted above, the link, is the fix if you have handle operated interior lights...my ranger had the same problem and i haven't had any more problem since...my project X has pics all over this board, and writeups too...come to think of it, so does my ranger;)
...just curious why you wanted to see my project X as we were talking about a ranger...
