I'm a noob, so bare with me. I think I need about a 2" drop in the rear of my 95 2wd XLT. One friend says I can remove a rear leaf spring. Another says drop blocks. Another says drop shackles. I've done some searching, but really haven't found direct answers to the pros and cons of different ways of lowering the rear. So if anyone wants to drop some knowledge, I'd much appreciate it

Also, my truck has shorter tires which makes the speedo read ~7mph high at interstate speeds. Do these trucks have a simple speedo gear like my old Mustang? Or does it use some kind of wheel speed sensor? Just wondering if I can get the speedo to read right, or close anyway. Thanks!
