1996/1995 catalytic convertor question

Hi, I have a 96 explorer with bad cats on it, so I had gotten a 95 with good ones and I am going to swap cats, but I know that the 95 didnt have a downstream O2 sensor, so I was thinking that all I have to do is add an exhaust bung to the 95 cats and that would be that, right? Basically I was just wondering if the 95 and 96 cats were the same, besides the downstream O2 sensor? If anyone could help me out, that would be great!

I think it should work-theoretically--

At this point, what do you have to loose?

If you do need new cats--search ebay hard-
look for a 2 1/4" high flow catalytic converter--

You should find them for around 50 bux each.

You are doing the front cats, correct?
