1997 Engine Wire Harness question

Hello,

I have obtained a wire harness for a 1997 Ford Explorer that I am planning to use for a V8 swap to a 01 Sport Trac. Since there are different engine setups for a 97 Explorer, one with/EGR hole in exhaust manifold and one without/EGR hole in exhaust manifold, how would I be able to tell which engine my wire harness is for?

Look for a dpfe connector,and an egr vacuum solenoid connector, in the harness.

this would be the "without hole" type if it is there.
