Are there any tech articles or write-ups on replacing the clutch for this? I have to do one for a friend next week along with a transmission swap and I think it is a hydraulic clutch? Thanks.
Its a pretty simple precess. You'll need lotsa beer and lotsa WD40 to soak the rusted exhaust bolts over night. Once you are there, make sure you change out the slave cylinder resurface the flywheel and change out the rear main seal (97 Ranger 9 years old great time to replace the new seal), throw-out bearing, plug up the 3 shift rail plugs with steel freeze plug (5/8"), the extention seal (where the drive line go into the tranny).
I did mine and I paid around $500 for all the parts required.
I would have offer to help but I think the beer would get warm by the time I get there! lol
