1998 Ford Explorer Limited

Speedometer works now and than,about a good 5-7 miles then quit working,took my car to shop and have them check it out and what Mechanic told me is probably a relay switch or possible bad instrument cluster, speed sensors all checked out good. Any suggestion that anyone may have? Thanks

Another thing current miles on vehicle is 229000+.

Thermostat housing issue

Have coolant shooting out when I press the throttle cable,could it be a bad O-ring inside the thermostat or is housing has a pin hole crack? It comes out between the top thermostat housing and bypass hose,felt around that area and didn't feel their was any crack.

Connect a cooling system pressure tester to see where the leak is coming from.
