Hi,
I have a 1999 ford explorer idling too low at 500 revs.
Whats the problem and how much to fix?
Thanks.

Welcome, I moved this thread into the proper section.. As far as your low idle. It can be many things. The spark plugs are bad, IAC needs to be cleaned, or the MAF also. Is your check engine light on? There is no way to say how much it will cost you. Unless you are doing the work yourself and can get discounts on parts.

Well mine recently was idleing low. And would stall if i reved it and let the rpms go back down. Turned out it was my spark plugs. My check engine light was reading Cylender misfire. Your throttle body could also need cleaning.

Hi

Cool, I will go to my local mechanic with these ideas..
The local ford dealer wanted to charge me 83 bucks an hour just labour, no thanks.

Hello again,
Trying to find the code for the Key code for the Keyless entry.
Cant find it where the wheel brace and jack are.
Any ideas?

That took me a few tries with a mirror and a flashlight to see it....but it was there on the sticker on the box inside.
