1999 Explorer traction lok issue

My explorer has traction lok for sure my axle code is D4 and my gear ratio is 3.73.I was going to change my gear oil but I wasnt sure if I needed the friciton modifer, so i jacked up the rear and spun the rear wheel and checked if I had a traction lok diff.Anyway when spinning the wheel in one direction the other wheel spins in the opposite direction.Does this mean my clutch plates are worn out?

I'd pull the cover and look to see what's in it. Unless you owned it from new, who knows what's been done to it.

Yup, I went from open to trac lok recently.
