not the right spacing they are 5x5.5 and you are 5x4.5

do they make cobra wheels 5x4.5?

Just about all of the Cobra wheels are 5 on 4.5. Since you are first gen. 4x4, you will have to have the center of the wheel machined out to run any of the car/sport truck based wheels.

yes thats what most of them are.

Actually Boomin the Lightning won't fit because Ford in their infinate wisdom went to a metric pater... 5 on 135mm... Only truck with that bolt patern is the 97-03 F 150!!!

what about 18x9 bullet mustang wheels?

You've got a 4x4 so the hub will have to make it through the center of the wheel. These'll fit, but you'll have to get a big hole machined through.

i heard i could just take off the black hub and it would work but i just couldnt use the 4x4 is this correct?

you would have to swap to 2wd or drill it out. That hub holds everythign together.

Even with the hub off I don't think it would work. If you look, there's still a piece that sticks out, plus you'd ruin your 4-wheel drive. Someone on this board is looking to swap a 2x4 system for a 4x4, maybe PM them?

well if that peice that sticks out is the same size as the one on the rear axel it will fit. My bullets go right over them

It's not. It's just a tad shorter than the hub.

ok well the truth is im lookin for a sport truck wheels like 18's or 19's...im not in to the bling bling...i do like the 18" corba wheels but i would have to machine a hole....does anyone know how much it cost to machine out the holes on the front wheels and will the wheels be strong enough and does anyone have a pic or a explorer with custom wheels and machine out hubs? thanlks

I've only seen one and It didn't look good IMO. You've got some nice rims and a HUGE hole with a HUGE hub sticking out. Get some chrome 4x4 rims if you want it to look good.

I gotta go with husky... ive seen one that had Cobra R's (i think) and man the hub seriously ruined the look. If thats what you want, then go for it but IMHO it doesnt look good at all.
