1999 power door lock problem

1999 explorer 4 door. left rear power door lock won't go up or down all the way. i have to use my fingers to manually pull it up or down. i hear the actuator engaging but there is too much resistance in the lock, thus the clutch kicks in and the lock won't open or close all the way. i can feel the resistance in the lock when i pull up or down on the lock. All other lock have little to no resistance. Any ideas as to what is causing it to stick? How about repairing it?

Are you still under the 3/36,000 warranty? If so, have the dealership fix it. coold be the lock tumbler may just need a good lube'n.
