I've got an exhaust leak on the passenger side of my Explorer. I'm guessing it's a cracked manifold? I have looked at the manifold but I can't tell where it's coming from. Am I in the right direction or should I look for a gasket leak instead?

You have the cast manifold, they're not know to crack. I would check your egr tube first, that's the common cause of an exhaust leak on the passenger side. It could also be that your manifold bolts have backed out, they have been known to do that from time to time.

Uh oh, it`s TMH time. :D

Thanks. I will check the bolts and the egr tube.

I would love to put a set of TMH's on my 5.0 just can't turn loose of the $600 + right now.

I hear ya. It took me 3.5 years before I pulled the trigger. Well worth the wait though. :)
