2000 xlt transfer case options

I have a 2000 xlt 5.0 that am doing a SAS and need a transfer case and see the popular swap is the 4406. Does or is there another transfer case that will work?

4406 is your best option.
There is an older one, BW1356(I believe?) but it is larger than the 4406

I do have a 1356 but not finding any post on installing

I think I've seen some posts over on therangerstation.com

it requires notching the frame to get it to fit, from what I remember.
