My 2001 mercury mountaineer does not have a tension pully system for the drive belt. It is a v8 5l. The belt diagram has an alternative routing without the pully system. I need to change the alternator. How do I get the belt back on without the spring bar system?

Thanks for the diagram. There is a one wheel tensioner without the arm, attached to the block with a 15mm bolt. No adjustment. The diagram on the car shows two systems. One with the arm and pully and this second system. As to the second system, all it says is to turn the pully clockwise which is the natural direction.
