hello, i just bought a used 2002 exploder xlt and have the keyless entry number pad on the door pillar... i just dont know where to find the numbers to use it... before you jump and reply that it is on the box behind the jack on the drivers side rear quarter panel, remember this is a 2002 not a 2001 or older... thanks for any good help and sorry to anyone who waste's their time typing the wrong answer...

p.s. i heard what you thought but i have been called much worse to my face, thanks for reading my post;)

Can't help you with finding the code. Please don't double post, I assure you, a lot of board members will read your original post and will be able to help you.

Is it not in the same place? There aren't a lot of 3rd Gen owners here since it's a new model, and not a very good off-roading platform.

did not mean to double post, new to this and I even tried to delete the 2nd post... I guess I don't have the rights to delete being a lowly wannabee and all... and as far as off roading goes I have a box Cherokee with all the Rubicon Express suspension I need to clear 35 /12.50/15 on 8" rims. even down here in Florida I can flex with the best.. cept fer we don't cross rocks as much as we do them there alligators... and as far as that Chevy Ford Dodge Yugo debate goes I am not prejudice. if it gets the job done I like it.

anywho, I still have a keypad on the door pillar that needs a code to work...

thanks for reading my rantings... :p

P.S. , explorers arent good fer off roading??? :hammer:

well then, I think I will get some 22" rims and attach my 02 to the ground with some eibach lowering springs :D

false: Explorers are offroading MACHINES!!

he was reffering to the 3rd gens, not all of em, and i dont think he meant they are bad at offraoding, he just meant theyre not the easiest to work with when creating an offroad MACHINE!

Later,
Sean

works for me. remember i am not prejudice. heck ,as far as i know the only thing wrong with a 3rd gen explorer is no one knows where they hide them dang keyless entry numbers... maybe there written all over the truck but you got to have a blacklight to see em
