Sweet little montage there. Love the backwards Ford logo in the first pic. ;)

Welcome to the site Jamers! Your site looks good bud.

Looks like one tough truck to me!

:(

I heard they made the rear window low enough so that it would be easy to place groceries in the back.

Front and rear solid axle swaps aren't going to be cheap.

Why doesn't Ford save itself some time and just slap the name "Explorer" on the Windstar?

LOL, I love the sarcasm Tim.

I thought it looked kinda funny. It's weird like that cause the scenery looked fine the other way too, except the logo was backwards, almost like Ford put it on that way. I wasn't trying to be mean; you've put together a nice set of photos there.
Also, I forgot to welcome you to the site. Here I go replying to your first post with criticism. :banghead: Sorry about that. Welcome aboard!!!

nice job, jamers...where did you find all those pics? i recognize some of them from motor trend. but where are the others from?

I just searched "Ford Explorer 2002" using Yahoo. Started clicking on various sites that had info on the new Explorer and saved any pics they had. Before I knew it I had over 20 different pics. The pictures and reviews have convinced me to buy one.

By the way, if you're using Netscape as your browser, some of the pics may be misaligned. This is because I used MS Frontpage 2000 to create the site. Internet Explorer will display them properly.

Hey drmoore71,

I just noticed your cars listing...95,97 XLT and 66 Stang.

That is funny because I too have owned those same year cars. Do you plan to buy a 2002 Explorer too. Maybe you're my car twin?

I don't think they're that bad looking. But i still love the way my boxy 91 looks. They might look good with a lift ,you never know. I didn't like the way the Sport-Trac looked when it came out but now i want one(with a lift).

Nice site you put up, Jamers. Doesn't look bad this Isuzu, I mean Ford Sequoia!

Tim, this picture prooves that it is a though truck; I think I got more dings in my doors on supermarket parkinglots than actually off-road ;)

Let's see how this two independent suspensions work in real life. Lock them up and you can screw axle articulation. I have never seen a 2002 yet, but if the ground clearance and the angles are better than with our post '95 XLTs, we could get one or two surprises :D

jamers, we will be getting out of the '97 once my wife is out of school, but i think we will probably end up with a discovery if we get another suv. if not she will most likely get a 3 series bmw convertible. one of these days when i get rich, i will think about a new explorer, but i intend to keep the mustang and the 95 xlt forever. btw what was your '66 like? do you have any pics? there is one pic of mine in the photopoint acct in my signature.

Dead Link Removed

Here it is..or was. I sold is several years back. The new owner totaled it a month after buying it. Oh well.
