Have suddenly developed a hard starting and very rough running problem with an '02 Explorer Sport, w/ 65k well maintained miles.
Noticed a few weeks ago a rough idle and lots of exhaust, but as soon as shut down and restarted, the problem disappeared, and did not resurface untill yesterday. WAs able to get the car home on it's own power, but barely.
I rented a diagnostics tester from Auto Zone, and have found 4 codes: P0303, 4 and 6, all detecting misfiring in the 3,4, and 6 cylinders. I am asuming this indicates I have an ignition related problem. Where do I go from here?
