2002 tails on 2nd gen X?

You love those '02 tails? That's one of the cost-cutting techniques Ford has done!

You could fabricate your X to "fit" the '02 taillamps but you would have to trim off pieces of the sheetmetal. All those efforts, time and money, why not get a used '02 X instead?

Ford!!! Bring those tri-colored taillamps back!!!

no..its just i hate the tails on 98 and 99, my friend sold his 95 and got a 99 and the tails are ugly so he asked me what options he has so i was just asking.

I like the 02 tails from Japan-bound Explorers... they still have the amber colored turn signal areas. The all red is too cheap IMHO.
