i'll tell you one thing, it sure looks mighty good! Thanks to Black Magic for the roof rack idea and I forget who told me about the logos.... He has a Goldish sport though..

What do you wanna do with the badges? take the sides fully off and leave just Xplorer on the back? Hey its fine with me man..... Fellow explorers can do whatever they want, thanks to the sporter who gave me the idea first though.

all i did with the roof racks was un screw em and screw the screws back in, the screws are back so that would be fine if you have a black car but it leaves a silver washer around the screw open.... i am taking black touch up paint that i got from the dealer to cover them up for this weekend... cant really notice them unless they are pointed out though.

I'm on the roof rack thing tomorrow, my truck is wedgewood blue and i have paint to match, So they are HISTORY Man........

As for the badges i will leave them all on but have the e gone.........

RoadEnforcer I am glad you like the roof rack removal! You need some pics up. Let me know if you do anything with your 01 so I can see! We have to be more ingenuitive than everyone else since no one makes anything for ours. Oh my bad, there are now the clear corners! Pics soon to come as soon as I get the corners. I have a silver explorer and I wanna get rid of my roof racks, how do you think it would turn out.


You just take out the screws and put them back in??

It looks GREAT much smoother. And yes, you can kinda see the bolts but the are smooth flat. And the 6 bolts look less ulgy than the rack does. If you don't like it just put the rack back on later.

My clear corners are on the way too, shipped fri.
And about the roof rails I am going to the hardware store to find some flat head bolts for the roof, then paint them. I think i am the only one that notices them, but shall see what i can find.
