any 1 have any clues what i should look at

The radiator hose could be old, dry-rotted, and worn. Was the engine temperature higher than average? I would start by checking the water pump for weeping, replacing the reservoir cap, and possibly replacing the hose.

i replaced the thermostat just after this happened.

the hose looks to be in 100% good condtion. its a motorcraft hose

i guess next will be the cap
