2003 XLT Rocker Panels

Can anyone offer suggestions on what rockers to buy. Both sides on my 2003 are totally gone thanks to the Pa. winters! I removed the running boards today and Jesus H the rust! If the inspection guy would have looked closer there’s no way it would have passed!!

I’m not looking to spend top dollar as the Ex is a second vehicle used for winter driving. I’m thinking the slip on types but don’t know which ones to buy. I don’t know what they should look like with having the four door, etc.

I’d appreciate any help of thoughts.

So slip-on panels are cheaper while thinner, need glue, many clamps and screws and a amount of fiberglass filler, ...
Would give it a try if there is still left enough old metal.



I don't know if slip-on is cheaper at the end.
If the old rocker panels went away badly, i would prefer factory style rocker panels
and weld them in, think it's more stable.
