- 2004 Ford Explorer
Hello,
I have a 2004 Ford explorer V6.
About a week a go I was excellerating to pull on the highway and my truck shut off and would not start back up.
It will turn over but will not start.
I had it towed home, and started running some basic test. It is getting fuel with pressure. The coil was reading with low on output when i tested so I did replace this as well as all the spark plugs.
Still the same issue.
A couple weeks before, I heard the timeing chain rattling so I replaced the tensioners. It seemed to fix the problem but I am wondering if maybe something still happened in there after the fact, broken guide/ chain slipped. Maybe when I was excellerating on the highway.
Any other thought?
