Good morning all. I have an '04 Explorer with a 4.0 V6. I want to get some new polyurethane bushings for the swaybars but don't know the sizes of the bars. I was trying to measure them with the "wrench method" last night but my front bar is larger than my biggest wrench. I didn't even bother checking the rear at this point in time. Is there anyone who can tell me what the sizes of these bars are? Thanks in advance for any info you can offer!

Does anyone have any idea? Someone out there has to know the sizes.

AFAIK the bars are different sizes, possibly depending on what tow package you have etc

Anyway mine are
front 31-32mm
rear 25mm

You really should measure them...a caliper should be cheap enough.

The sway bars come in several sizes, so you will have to get an adjustable wrench large enough to fit over the bar. You could try using a "plumbers pipe wrench", they tend to open farther apart than adjustable wrenches. Make sure you measure the bar at a straight section of bar, not on a curved section. Mine happens to be 31MM and I measured it with my large, adjustable wrench. BTW, get the greasable bushings kit that have the built in grease fitting for future ease of maintenance.
