The front seat on my 04 Explorer XLT will not go all the way back. It just goes about 1/3-1/2 back. There was a black piece of plastic laying under the seat. It looked like it was ripped or broken from the track/rail. I took it to the stealership. They said it had something to do with the seatbelt(can't remember what they called it). They said they can only replace whole seat rail which includes power motor, etc. $800 just for parts. Anyone had this problem? Is there a way to fix it without replacing the whole bracket/rail? I've been laid off since February, can't find a job; so money is extremely tight. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
