2004 Mercury Mountaineer transmission issue.

I have owned this mountaineer for about 7 months or so..i am having problems with the transmission.
i have read alot about this issue..or complaint per say.
it shifts through all the gears fine.
speratically it will shift in and out of overdrive from 4th to 5th.

no overdrive light flashing .. nothing like that..
just going down the road like 60mph and it will shift in and out of O.D.

i read on ebay about the servo bore needing to be replaced.
they have a fix that seems that it might work.

any other thoughts...
i have read about the solenoid block replacement... thought about that as well...

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the transmission section. Start with a band adjustment before you replace any parts. It might be a good idea to have the codes read (if there are any present). How many miles does it have?

no codes were present when i went to autozone..
i can do a band adjustment if your saying to start thier is thier a sticky on that for easy instructions
