2005 Explorer Sport Trac (need help).

My explorer i've had for awhile now.But the last year have had dash problems!It runs great not problems.The is the gauges go out and all the windows don't work and radio.RPM will only work and when gauges do work so will all the rest.But only a few gauges at a time will work or freeze in spot.Odometer says"test".Dome lights come on througth the night,also the radio.Woke up too dead truck afew times.Almost had enough!!

Welcome to this forum! I've moved your thread into the 2001-2005 Sport Trac section. It sounds like it could be a GEM module failure or bad battery cables/terminals.

Thanks for the quik reply.GEM Module? Battery i've cleaned,i checked all grounds,even ran ground from battery too body.Still not working.

The GEM is basically the brains of the entire vehicle. And if it goes bad, it can do some weird stuff like what you are talking about. Take it to a dealer and have them run some tests on it. And its really something the DIY person can't do. I know in my moms windstar, the GEM is located under the drivers seat, but under the floor also, real pain to get to. Not sure where its hidden on a Sport Trac though..

Mine has the same issues, did you ever find a solution? Mine is a 2005
