Radio Question......
I have an 05 XLT. It has the stock single cd radio. On the radio is a button to switch the Aux input and another button that switches to Sat. I would like to hook up an iPhone to the radio, or my sirius radio. I pulled the radio, but can not find any inputs on the rear of the radio to attach any AUX or Satellite Radio. I can't see why these buttons would be on the front of the radio if I can't hook anything up to it.

Anyone know anything about this?

Thanks!

There was/is a factory add on that was sold that plugged into the radio to get the sat.

I have the same radio on my '05. I was able to purchase a Terk XM radio tuner and a connection cable to hook it into the head unit. There are no separate jacks on the radio. The connection cable basically accepts the OE plug from inside the dash and then the new cable plugs into the radio directly. The connection cable includes all wiring for the OE radio and XM radio power, speaker wires, etc.. Very easy install actually. This is an example of the XM kit. Although it is discontinued, you can still find them on Ebay and/or Amazon. http://store.xmfanstore.com/xmdirect.html

Excellent info. Thanks guys.

I too have a question about the stock radio in an '05. Does this unit have a sub? I ask because there is a lot of bass for regular speakers. thanks.
