2006 Explorer Grill

Just ordered a 2006 Explorer XLT - 4.6 V8 The new grills look like they're off of a dump truck. Too much Phoney chrome. Any ideas. I was thinking of blcking out the big chrome section in the middle. Thanx !! In advance

did you already ask for a Billet-Grille ? Chrome, too, but i guess it could look much better.

The XLS model has a better looking grey/black grill, should be able to order it as a spare from the parts dept.

Thanx for all your help -- Nothing developed yet in the billet grill dept.
TRex Stull etc. I wish I was good at plastic Billet in the top
Billet in the bottom and cut an oval in that big piece og chrome in the center Billet there too. Looking for bolt ons too but nothing yet If I can get the new V8 from 292 to 302 or better -- What a shocker it would be when the traffic light turns green
