Solved 2006 Explorer XLT tranny fluid.

My 2006 Exp XLT - Rebuilt the transmission. When purchasing the fluid the auto parts store stated Mercon V for the type. I told them the owners manual stated Mercon SP. That's what I ordered. Any history as to what type I should use?

Update on my post concerning the type of tranny fluid. Double checked the manual, Mercon V is the correct type of trans fluid. My mistake, sorry guys.
