Hey everyone,
So about 2 weeks ago my some was driving my truck back from bestbuy and when he go to the front of my house I noticed a thin hose hangging fron the bottom. I just took it to jiffy Lube and they said the vent hose that goes from my transmission to the transfer case snapped and needs to be replaced. I called my local ford dealer and they said the part is not available. Does anyone know where I might find this part?

There’s a vent between the transmission and transfer case? That seems odd. What is the part that needs replaced? All I see is hose.

Take that piece of hose to an auto parts store. Purchase a few feet of hose and replace it. Its probably 3/8" ID hose. Looks like its set up to vent multiple cases, like the transmission and transfer case.
