2009 Antenna

Have an '09 Limited with nav and Sirius. Anyone had experience with swapping the stock antenna for a shorter one? I realize that the GPS antenna is separate and won't be affected by a swap, but what about Sirius?

Tired of wacking every sprinkler pipe in my underground garage.

I don't believe the radio antenna has anything to do with satellite I could be wrong but I don't think so.

Sirius has its own antenna on top, its that round square thing. I believe both the sirius and gps are built into that thing.

I have a shortie (12") billet antenna on mine. Radio reception is just as good as the 31" stock antenna. And Sirius uses the puck on the roof as others said.

(note: antenna isn't bent, it just looks that way from the angle I took it)

I was wondering about a retractable antenna, you would have to drill the hole out more.
