Just as a comparison. I recently bought a 2010 EB with the 4.6. It had 68,000 miles on it when I got it, and had the extended warranty WHICH I USED big time. My Explorer needed a couple odds and ends, but nothing major. Same color as the one in the link, but mine has dual zone HVAC, Sunroof, audiophile speaker set up, and the chrome clad wheels. Couple added extras like Viper alarm with Smartstart which I love and a magnaflow catback.
I paid $14k for mine, and then $75 to transfer the extended warranty, which is good to 75k miles.
Things that have been fixed under warranty. New timing chains, guides, tensioners, etc. And a brand new transfer case. None of that stuff was bad when I got it. They replaced the timing parts due to a slight tick. And the transfer case broke after I got it. Lost 4-low due to a piece of the casing breaking off inside and causing havoc.
Im not sure I would pay $16k for that one since its missing a few options and its the 4.0, but it sure looks clean. If it doesnt have any issues, and everything works, it would certainly be a nice truck.
