Hi guys, Ive found a couple of OEM parts for the 2011 explorer on ebay, but I was wondering if you guys know any vendor with a good reputation, with things like...

- Chrome door handles
- Rear view mirrors with turn indicators
- Fog lamps
- My Ford Touch & Ford Sync (do they even sell it ?)
- Molded splash guards
- Bug shield deflector
- Head rest dvd players
- Ambient lightning package
- Media hub
etc...

We could get some good vendor and arrange "group buys" if people are interested so we can benefit with a nice discount... :D

I am guessing by what your looking for you have a base model? I have been digging for this stuff since the day I bought my explorere, also a base model, and so far the "cheapest" stuff I have found has been at Peach State Ford Trucks in Atlanta. However, I can't find the part number for the actual chrome door handle on Fordparts.com, all I see is the bezel, if you know that part number that would be awesome, but check out Peach State, I got the headlight switch to add auto headlamps for 95$ from them, instead of 180$ and some other stuff for a lot cheaper too.

As far as the MFT stuff, I dont think that can be installed after production, the wire harness is completely different and the MFT is programmed with the VIN of the vehicle at production, a new system would have to be programmed and the Body Control Module and Audio Control module would have to be programmed for the vehicle, so in theory yes it could be done, but it would probably cost more to do it than it would to buy an XLT in the long run. Also, as of right now there are no available software protocols available to dealers to re-program the BCM/ACM/and MFT to work in a vehicle.....total bummer really, guess I will be waiting for a double din dash kit and installing a Pioneer AVIC-Z130BT to get the in dash media.

Well im in Ecuador, so things down here are a little more complicated than for you guys, I ordered mine two weeks ago, but since its the first 2011 explorer shipment theyll be receiving from Ford, and custom taxes change every two days, they cant specify the price for any model until they arrive, so I still dont know if ill be getting the base model or the XLT, it will depend on the final price.

Do they have a web site ? can you buy from "Peach State" online ?

Wow, thats interesting, yes you can go onto fordparts.com and select Peach State Ford as your preferred dealer, I don't know about the shipping to Ecuador, and if they do how much it would cost but the prices for parts are generally well below MSRP.
