After just a little over 2 years of having this truck the Dunlops, which were New went bad...and I mean really bad!!
They are dated made in 2010, but have cracks all through the tread, and 2 of the 4 have come a part inside and started to bubble on the tread. This has made the truck pull to the right horribly, and I'm pretty sure took out the rack and pinion. In fact I was replacing the R&P when I came across the real issue.
Which leads us to today.. With the tires out of commission, truck wasn't going any where till I replaced them. Since I don't have $600-$800 for tires, I turned to craigslist. I was looking for take offs as I could buy them cheap, and then sell my current wheels. This is what I found.
2012 Ford Mustang V6 17" Wheels. With 215/65/17 Michillens that were on the Mustang for 3 months for Under $400
Bolted right on, no issues. Only thing I have to do is pull the sensors from my old wheels and install them on these new ones. Tires are about 1/2" sorter but will work for now.
Enjoy!
