Hi, was in a minor accident recently and my a/c condenser looked damaged and the a/c stopped working so I thought I had to replace it and it would work again. What a headache that was (leave it to ford lol.....). Anyway, got everything back together and vacuumed the system and it held so I then tried to charge it but it was like I couldn't get any 134a into the system and I don't think the compressor clutch was engaging. I know you have to build up some pressure before the switch kicks on but it never did. So I looked around to find the pressure switch or clutch cycle switch (what ever you want to call it) to jump the pins to see if that would make the clutch engage buuuuuuuuut I cant seem to find it and cant seem to get a straight answer looking it up online. What am I missing? Any information would be great. Summer is kicking in and 100 degree weather is around the corner lol. Also makes me think if it was the pressure switch, maybe i didn't have to replace my condenser at all..... pain in the ass!
